Quality control begins with an approved product, not a vague instruction to “check quality.” The agreed reference may include photos or a sample, a variant list, dimensions, accessories, function and packing rules.

General Inspection Level II and AQL 2.5 are sampling-plan inputs; the applicable lot, defect definitions and acceptance rules must be agreed. Full inspection checks every unit against the selected criteria and is not a zero-defect guarantee.

What Happens When an Inspection Finds a Defect?
A failed item needs a decision record, not an improvised replacement. The first step is to identify what differs from the approved product and how many units may be affected.

AQL Sampling vs Full Product Inspection
For an appropriate production lot, sampling uses a defined plan to decide whether the lot is accepted or rejected. General inspection uses Level II and AQL 2.5 as planning inputs; those values do not describe the percentage of defective goods in a particular order.
Full inspection means checking every unit for the specific attributes agreed with you. It can help sort mixed variants or screen a known visible defect. It cannot prove zero defects or substitute for a laboratory result. The listed standard labor rate is $5 per hour for full inspection; confirm the current rate, labor estimate and scope in the quote.

What does product quality inspection in China cover?
It covers the checks agreed for your exact SKU and order: product identity, condition, quantity, relevant dimensions or basic function, accessories, labels and packing. The inspection stage and evidence required should be set before goods are released.
What is included in general inspection?
General inspection for eligible warehouse receipts has no separate charge and references General Inspection Level II with AQL 2.5. Confirm the actual lot, sample, defect classes, acceptance plan and included scope for your product; a sample does not certify every unit.
When should I choose full inspection?
Choose one-by-one inspection when a known defect, mixed variants or an especially sensitive presentation needs every unit screened against agreed checks. Inspecting every unit for those checks does not prove that all possible defects are absent.
How is full inspection priced?
The listed standard labor rate is $5 per hour. Ask for a quote based on SKU, quantity, checks, required tools and handling time; confirm the current rate and total before work starts.
What does AQL 2.5 mean for my order?
It is a parameter in a sampling acceptance plan, not a statement that 2.5% of your shipment may be defective. An applicable lot definition, inspection level, standard edition, defect classes and accept/reject rules must be confirmed first.
Will a full inspection guarantee zero defects?
No. The team can check every unit for the agreed, observable criteria, but hidden faults, future failures and issues outside those criteria may remain. Specialist tests are separate.
What happens when damaged or mismatched products are found?
Affected units should be recorded and held. We confirm the discrepancy with you, coordinate a request for exchange with the supplier where appropriate, and update stock only after the agreed decision. Supplier approval and remedy depend on the supplier arrangement.
How are fragile or valuable goods packed?
Protective wrapping, such as bubble bags, can be arranged for fragile or valuable products. The final protection method should match the actual item and shipping route; a visual check cannot guarantee that transit damage will never occur.
What if my customer reports a defect after delivery?
Send the order reference, photos and description promptly. For defects reported within seven days of receipt, replacement or compensation is reviewed under the agreed claim and evidence rules.
Can warehouse QC replace laboratory testing or regulatory approval?
No. Visual, identity and basic functional checks cannot establish chemical composition, electrical safety, restricted-substance compliance or destination-market approval. Arrange suitable specialist testing and document review for regulated or higher-risk products.
